March 25, 2015 — JDSU today introduced the WiFi Advisor wireless LAN analyzer with a unique TrueMargin™ capability that improves WiFi network resiliency. WiFi Advisor helps service providers improve and preserve long-term quality of experience (QoE) for mission-critical services, including video and common over-the-top applications. Managed through an off-the-shelf tablet, WiFi Advisor is included in a wide range of StrataSync™-enabled JDSU test platforms, including HST-3000, DSAM, OneExpert™, and SmartClass™ TPS.
Designed for tier 1 installation professionals, WiFi Advisor enables broadband service providers to troubleshoot 2.4 and 5 GHz residential WiFi services and install robust WiFi networks efficiently. Guided test flows, expert channel recommendations, and WiFi network design tips help technicians quickly and accurately assess whole-home WiFi performance so they can optimize the network before leaving the job site.
