RFC2544 takes too long.

Knowledge Base - Solution

The RFC 2544 takes too long to run. How can I make it complete faster?
The time it takes to run an RFC 2544 depends on what the user has selected. You can create your own configurations by selecting to create a new profile when first entering the RFC. Choose only the tests you require and deselect the others. Choose only 3 or 4 frames sizes instead of all 8. Adjust the individual test times for a smaller amount and reduce the number of trials to 1 to reduce the overall time that it will take. Make sure that the maximum bandwidth entered is correct for the CIR of the circuit under test. If the CIR specified is larger than the circuit allows, the RFC test must spend extra time determining the correct bandwidth which can add to the overall time for completion.
