How to login to the web interface and activate the software license key.

Solution Steps:

To install the SWM license key on your Qg 2, the following steps shall be followed:

  1. Bring up the System Webpage of the QG2 GUI ( "Web interface" chapter, page 22 of the user guide)
  2. Enter the license key received from VIAVI SOLUTIONS in the " Install new SWM Lic" field. ("10.3.1 SWM on System webpage", page 100 of the user guide)
  3. Press the " Activate " button.

Note: If you do not have a copy of your license key for your unit, please contact technical support at qg2_support@viavisolutions.com. Also, please specify the serial number of your unit.
