How can I tell if my smart phone or tablet supports USB Hosting? In order to use the P5000i with a phone or tablet it needs to support USB hosting.
The phone or tablet vendor is the best source of information but as a quick check they can plug a USB mouse into an OTG cable connected to the phone or tablet. If the device supports USB hosting you should see a pointer that you can move around with the mouse.
