ONE-1600ERP OSFP 1600Gb/s Test Module

The VIAVI ONE LabPro® ONE-1600ERP is for Optical Transceiver Manufacturers, IC designers, and Systems Manufacturers running high-volume 1.6Tb/s and 800Gb/s Ethernet test on the production floor.

The ONE-1600ERP Test Module is a PHY-scenario test system for manufacturing and production pass/fail testing. It delivers a tailored feature set at a lower price than the ONE-1600ER/ERE, while preserving the same software APIs, web UI, and BER performance per lane.

The ONE LabPro ONE-1600ERP does not include FEC error injection and validation, L2/L3 scenarios, or the high-resolution FEC event list found on the ONE-1600ER/ERE. Test scenarios and automation built on the ONE-1600ER/ERE carry over directly, and the main API change is the use of different port profiles.

  • ONE-1600ERP Module 4 x OSFP1600 in 2U. Available with either OSFP Integrated Heat Sink (IHS) or Riding Heat Sink (RHS) 
  • ONE Controller C1 in 1U – scales up to 16 x ONE LabPro Test Modules 
  • 8 x 200GE, 4 x 400GE, 2 x 800GE, 800GE, 8 x 100GE and 1.6TE framed Ethernet, plus 8 x 212.5 Gbps unframed, with the same line rates as the ONE-1600ER/ERE
  • ONE-1600ERP is a distinct hardware configuration; there is no upgrade path to ONE-1600ER/ERE
  • Support of optical transceiver modules or electrical connectivity using DAC/ACC/AEC/AOC
  • PHY-scenario traffic generation and analysis including 256 traffic flow groups and 8,192 traceable flows on breakout ports (for 1.6T, up to 8 traffic flow groups and 1,092 traceable flows)
  • FEC error distribution/histogram reporting on TX/RX (FEC error validation and injection are not available)
  • Bit slip measurement on 8 x 200GE to detect offsets caused by bursts of errors
  • CMIS 5.3/5.4 with support up to 240 application codes, especially applicable to ZR/ZR+ modules
