October 19, 2017 — The latest firmware release for OneExpert CATV offers a variety of new test features that make testing simpler and faster, to enable techs to quickly verify network operation and troubleshoot.
- Techs easily see if/when a carrier drops out with a quick, full scan, using a saved channel plan for comparison using QuickCheck Expert
- Test cable lengths, and find home network components and cable damage with HomeTDR time domain reflectometer mode
- Optimize and troubleshoot home WiFi networks with WiFi Advisor Smart Channel Wizard a simplified user interface on the OneExpert
- Sweep premises coax wiring to 1,600 MHz for performance verification and troubleshooting with SmartID
