Does the CSAM BERT module support RS-FEC for 100G Ethernet Testing?
The CSAM does support RS-FEC. It requires the purchase of the RS-FEC software option and BERT software of 24.4 or higher. RS-FEC is an application that will appear in the Select Test menu of the CSAM. Qualified optics with a loopback cable and adapter are used.
