Modem firmware not the expected version message occurs when launching the DSL module.
Knowledge Base - Solution
Modem firmware not the expected version message occurs when launching the BDCM DSL module on an HST-3000.
This message occurs when the DSL module’s firmware conflicts with the HST mainframe’s installed software. Users can select “OK” to bypass the message and perform a test. This condition occurs when a newer module is used on an HST mainframe with an older software version or when an older module, without updated firmware, is used on an HST mainframe with newer software. To permanently clear the message follow the upgrade instructions in the HST and BDCM module software upgrade procedures to reload the HST and/or the BDCM module to compatible software/firmware versions.
