CX300 RCI-Connection refused by terminal application

Why is my connection refused by the terminal application when trying to establish a connection between the CX300 and a computer?

If this happens, this means that your configuration is not correct. Please check the following:

  1. The Network Settings on the CX300 match the ones on your computer's local network ( IPv4 Mode, IP Address, Gateway Subnet Mask, DNS Server)
  2. You are using Telnet as your service
  3. You are using the TCP port #5600
