The GEOL-2600 is a compact, low-power receiver module that enables access to the altGNSS GEO-L signal, a SecureTime℠ GEO service. It provides a trusted source of UTC-traceable time using secure, one-way transmissions from geostationary satellites. By combining a custom receiver design, disciplined oscillator, and a highly directional antenna, the GEOL-2600 delivers high-precision timing without relying on GNSS.

Designed for integration into critical infrastructure and other fixed-location systems, the GEOL-2600 helps maintain timing continuity when GNSS signals are unavailable, unreliable, or insufficient on their own. This module is an ideal solution for applications that require resilient timing, such as power distribution, telecom networks, radar installations, and secure communications.

    VIAVI’s GEO-L Helical Antenna is specifically designed to receive our altGNSS-GEO-L SecureTime service. The directionality allows the antenna to be pointed at the GEO satellite which reduces jamming and spoofing.
