GigaStor network forensics, data retention solutions are used by network managers and engineers for retrospective network analysis and troubleshooting. Using GigaStor’s analytics, network teams can navigate to the exact moment a problem occurred, view packet-level details around the event, and resolve the issue. This saves significant time troubleshooting and eliminates having to recreate the performance problem.
“As the only performance management company developing and manufacturing hardware and software in-house, our solutions are purpose-built to manage network and application performance for large enterprise environments,” said Steve Brown, Director of Product Marketing for Network Instruments. “GigaStor established itself as a leading solution by being the first retrospective network analysis appliance to provide complete packet capture in fully-saturated 10 Gb networks and interfacing with 40 Gb networks. Our customers can rely on us to integrate the latest capture and storage technologies to ensure quick and accurate resolution.”
GigaStor 10 Gb Wire Speed, optimized for out-of-box monitoring of saturated 10 Gb Ethernet links, now provides 288 TB of storage via three- 5U enclosures. GigaStor Expandable capacities begin at 96 TB (increasing by 96 TB increments) to 288 TB, thereafter growing in 288 TB amounts to 576 TB, 864 TB, and more than a petabyte of packet capture storage. The Expandable product line offers in-the-field scalability to meet growing performance monitoring needs on gigabit, 10 Gb, and 40 Gb links.
