VIAVI ONE LabPro™ simplifies and accelerates high-speed Ethernet tests in labs and live test bed environments. It is a multiport Ethernet performance validation and debugging test system for R&D, system verification and production, providing high-speed traffic load testing, system delay performance testing and switch fabric performance testing. ONE LabPro is designed for Network Equipment Manufacturers, IC Designers, High Speed Module Suppliers, data centers and Service Providers who work on high-speed Ethernet projects up to 1.6T.

This modern testing platform was designed from the ground up for efficient and realistic traffic generation and analysis, while addressing key platform pillars that are expected from a next-generation testing tool. The platform consists of an ONE Controller, ONE-800 (800G), HSE-800 (800G) and ONE-1600 (1.6T) Test Modules, and software suite.

This platform is designed for the requirements of 100Gb – 1.6Tb Ethernet, based on advanced PAM4 electrical links, CMIS module management, nanosecond latency and demanding power and cooling needs. PAM-4 electrical links add a new challenging dimension for Ethernet testing that can only be truly addressed with a fully integrated architecture.

ONE LabPro supports high-speed Ethernet testing from 100GE through 1.6Tb/s. The platform uses ONE-1600 modules for 1.6T testing based on the 802.3dj specification with 224G SerDes, ONE-800, and HSE-800 modules for 800G testing. It scales to 102Tb/s total test bandwidth, up to 64 x 1.6Tb/s ports or 128 x 800Gb/s ports, all orchestrated by a single controller.
ONE LabPro is used for R&D, system verification, and production testing of high-speed Ethernet infrastructure. Use cases include physical layer silicon validation, optical transceiver and pluggable module testing, switch fabric performance testing, FEC and PCS analysis, and AI data center fabric validation. It is designed for network equipment manufacturers, IC designers, high-speed module suppliers, hyperscalers, and service providers.
ONE LabPro is purpose-built for validating the high-speed Ethernet infrastructure at the core of AI data centers, including 800G and 1.6T switching fabrics, AI cluster interconnects, and next-generation optical transceivers operating on 224G SerDes lanes. The platform provides physical layer insight, FEC validation, and multi-flow traffic generation essential for verifying performance and interoperability in AI scale-up and scale-out network architectures.
ONE LabPro was the world's first electrical 224G/lane, 1.6Tb/s testing solution, and the ONE-1600 module remains the only tool to have completed interoperability testing against all known 200G/lane gearboxes and more than ten module vendors. The platform integrates physical layer, FEC, PCS, and MAC/IP testing with multi-flow L2/L3 traffic generation in a single system, with sub-nanosecond synchronization across mixed module configurations and a Python-based automation interface. Orchestrated by a single, scalable controller (up to 102Tb/s of test bandwidth) with a modern, web-based UI for simplified use and tool management.
ONE LabPro is designed for network equipment manufacturers (NEMs), integrated circuit designers, high-speed optical module suppliers, hyperscalers, data center operators, and service providers working on 800G and 1.6T Ethernet projects.
