CA5000 displays waveforms that are different from the actual signals.

Knowledge Base - Solution

When a customer measures band signal, the equipment displays waveforms that are different from the actual ones.

  1. The device shows no signal in the band where the signal is present.
  2. The device shows a waveform in a band where no signal exists.
  3. It looks like a truncated waveform, not the actual signal waveform.

This symptom is generally caused by a RF brick's failure. However, it may occur due to an error during the FW upgrade process. If you have recently performed a FW upgrade, please try SW Recovery first. If the same symptom occurs even after that, please proceed RMA.
