Enhanced Features
The µPNT-440 is a GPS/GNSS receiver that supports VIAVI's new SecureTimeSM GEO and LEO Services. When used in combination with the SecureTime Services, the µPNT-440 module provides the following enhanced features:
- eGNSS GEO: Provides enhanced spoof detection and mitigation with <2.5 ns RMS accuracy to UTC
- altGNSS LEO-S: Iridium GNSS-independent reference with <65 ns RMS accuracy traceable to UTC

VIAVI offers advanced and multi-orbit SecureTime Services, which can be combined to deliver defense-in-depth PNT capabilities.

Alternate GEO Satellite Timing Services
Cost-effective satellite-based timing service using GEO satellites with global coverage. This option uses the altGNSS GEO-L service with an integrated receiver, delivering reliable timing through an outdoor antenna. Over-the-air subscription updates make it ideal for scalable, low-maintenance deployments.

Alternate LEO Satellite Timing Services
Satellite-based timing service using a global LEO constellation with service availability in enabled regions. This option uses the altGNSS LEO-STL service with an integrated receiver, supporting indoor and outdoor antennas. The higher signal power from LEO satellites provides jamming resistance and improved availability in indoor environments.
