Can I use FMA or FMAE style inspection adapters/tip with my Viavi handheld fiber inspection microscope?
FMA tips/adapters can interface with a handheld probe but require the FBPT-UFMA flare adapter to adapt the barrel of the probe to the FMA adapter. The FMAE tips/adapters can interface with a handheld probe but require the FBPT-UFMAE flare adapter to adapt the barrel of the probe to the FMAE adapter. If the probe is an analog probe then it needs to be an FBP model and not an FBE (economy) version.
