Problem:
How do you set the starting fiber number when performing fiber inspection using the Viavi OLP-82/HD4? It always defaults to 001.
Solution:
To change the starting fiber number go to the IMAGE SAVE OPTIONS and select VERIFY NAME BEFORE SAVE. When performing the first save you will be prompted with the default name and can change the number there. All subsequents tests saved will increment from that number. You do not have to remain in the verify name before save mode. You may go to one button save at that point and it would continued to increment from that number.
