Cyberflood: Why does the DNS Performance report show an A grade when all transactions fail?
After running a Cyberflood test, you may see an A grade even though all transactions failed.
A careful look at the report states
Actual DNS Queries Per Second(QPS) never fell below 3% of the max DNS queries per second goal of 350 K QPS over the total duration** of the test.
Note that the grade is simply based upon the number of DNS queries per second. The grade is not related to whether the queries are successful. If the specified number of queries per second was reached throughout the test, the grade will be an A.
