Question:
Why do I not have a zero lambda result displayed on my Chromatic Dispersion (CD) test with my MTS/TBERD ODM dispersion module?
Answer:
In order to display a zero lambda result at all, the zero dispersion wavelength must fall in the range of 1260 nm to 1640 nm. For the results to be truly accurate, when the zero lamba wavelength falls outside the SCL band, the test must have been conducted with an OESCL light source capable of producing light across the full band and the testset configured to test the full OESCL band
