VIAVI TestCenter: How do you recover or reprogram a corrupted compact flash for a VIAVI TestCenter module?
• You will need a CF card reader that attaches to your PC (e.g., via USB) • Remove the module from the chassis and carefully remove the CF card from the module. Here are instruction to do that.  • Download the following file - 3.95.0236_Raw_images.zip (2.53 GB) • This file contains the CF images for all the CF based modules. • Once downloaded, unzip the file • To find which particular CF image you need, open the text file, rawimage.map, and locate your module in the list (e.g., for an EDM-2003B, the file is raven.1000-3.95.0236.img.gz) • un-gz the particular ,img.gz file so that you are left with a .img file (e.g., raven.1000-3.95.0236.img.gz --> flash-7641.img) • Use Win32 Disk Imager to copy the image to the compact flash drive. • Point to the .img file when using the Win 32 Disk Imager. • Replace the CF card into the module and the module back in the chassis.
