What is the SBAS selection on my V2 5800 Timing Expansion Module?
Satellite-Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS) – An SBAS is a system that supports augmentation through the use of additional satellite-broadcast messages. These are commonly made up of multiple ground stations, located at accurately-surveyed points. The ground stations take measurements of the satellites, the satellite signals, or other environmental factors which may impact the signal. Messages then are sent to the satellites for broadcast to end users. SBAS systems are ideal for improving position accuracy but not recommended for sync applications so use SBAS for the survey but remove it afterwards.
