The 5800 will not boot up to a test screen.
Create a software upgrade USB stick (see software upgrade procedures). Power the 5800 off and place the USB stick on the unit and power it on. If it recognizes the USB it will attempt to install the software. If the unit will not recognize the upgrade USB it may be possible to perform a reimage recovery.
