Question:
What is the K30.7 error propagate code in CPRI?
Answer:
K30.7 ("Error Propagate"), is a special word used to indicate an error word has been received upstream. Instead of letting an invalid 10b word passing through, K30.7 is used to replace/substitute the invalid 10b word (data or control word) so that the downstream encoding integrity is maintained.
