EGM-7000 25G PTP Software License Option
The EGM-7000 is equipped with six Ethernet ports for PTP and one port for data management. Ports 1 and 2 operate at 1/100/1000 Mbps speeds; Ports 3 through 6 can operate at 1 or 10 Gbps speeds. The EGM-7000 25G PTP Software License Option upgrades Ports 5 and 6 to operate at 25 Gbps, as well as the standard 1 or 10 Gbps.

EGM-7000 1024 Client Software License Option
The EGM-7000 supports different Precision Time Protocol (PTP) profiles according to user deployment needs for phase/time synchronization in networks. The standard EGM-7000 provides PTP capability for 256 unicast clients at a full PTP message rate of 128 packets/second. The EGM-7000 1024 Client Software License Option increases this capacity to 1024 unicast clients while maintaining the 128 packets/second rate.

Receiver Options
The SecurePNT EdgeGM-7000 series includes three models based on your choice of receiver.
GEOL Receiver
The VIAVI GEOL receiver supports optional VIAVI SecureTime altGNSS GEO-L timing service.
STL Receiver
The STL Receiver supports Iridium PNT timing services which are available with optional VIAIV SecureTime altGNSS LEO timing services.
GNSS Receiver
The GNSS receiver provides 184 channel, multi-constellation (GPS, Galileo, Beidou, QZSS, NavIC), L1, L2, L5 capabilities.
Alternate Timing Options
The SecurePNT EdgeGM 7000 series models support two SecureTime alternate timing services to maintain precise timing when GNSS signals are degraded, unavailable, or intentionally denied.
SecureTime GEO-L
Cost-effective satellite-based timing service using GEO satellites with global coverage. This option uses the altGNSS GEO-L service with an integrated VIAVI GEOL-2600 receiver, delivering reliable timing through an outdoor antenna. Over-the-air subscription updates make it ideal for scalable, low-maintenance deployments.
SecureTime LEO
Satellite-based timing service using a global LEO constellation with service availability in enabled regions. This option uses the altGNSS LEO-S service with an integrated VIAVI STL-2600 receiver, supporting indoor and outdoor antennas. The higher signal power from LEO satellites provides jamming resistance and improved availability in indoor environments.

VIAVI GEO-L Helical Antenna
VIAVI’s GEO-L Helical Antenna is specifically designed to receive our altGNSS-GEO-L SecureTime service. The directionality allows the antenna to be pointed at the GEO satellite which reduces jamming and spoofing.

- Integrated mounting hardware for easy installation.
- An application note describing the installation and orientation procedure.

VIAVI offers warranty and maintenance and Repair Care Plans that include hardware and labor costs for repairs at the factory during the duration of the service contract.

Factory Repair
Our products live in rugged environments for over 10 years with 1000s of test connect/disconnect cycles. We will be there to support you to ensure components that require maintenance like connectors, batteries, and software updates to ensure you are ready to test accurately for years to come. We apply factory procedures for maintenance using OEM parts and the application of all engineering change orders and software updates. Services are available through contract Care plans, FleetCare or per incident as requests.
