Problem:
Which limit should be selected, on the 40G Certifier, if there are different categories of cabling in the path to be tested?
Solution:
The lowest rated cable type, in the circuit path, determines the level you should test at. Example: The permanent link is 6A but the wired channel connections are CAT6 then a CAT6 limit should be selected when performing channel testing that includes the CAT6 cabling.
