Problem:
My Viavi Chromatic Dispersion (CD) test results report the total dispersion as ps/nm instead of ps/nm/km. How do I get ps/nm/km?
Solution:
To get dispersion reported as ps/nm/km, go to the CD setup screen and set Normalized to km to Yes. In order for the result to be accurate you need to ensure that the Fiber Length field is accurate.
