Problem:
Fatal Error messages appear when performing HST copper tests.
Solution:
Fatal error messages can occur because of software or hardware issues so first reinstall the HST mainframe’s software. A reload of the software also reloads the software on the internal copper measurement board. If the fatal errors persist, the problem likely is hardware-related that requires returning the HST to Viavi for repair.
