Knowledge Base - FAQ
Avalanche Automation: ERROR: "No CyberFlood License servers configured, Please, navigate to 'Administration/VIAVI Test Center.../Equipment/CyberFlood Licensing Configuration' and configure the CyberFlood server."
Problem
On Import from TCL test, the error is seen in Avalanche Windows:
Verify license...
1. No CyberFlood License servers configured, Please, navigate to 'Administration/VIAVI Test Center.../Equipment/CyberFlood Licensing Configuration' and configure the CyberFlood server.
Yet CyberFlood license server IP address has been configured through Avalanche, Administration, VIAVI TestCenter, Equipment, CyberFlood Licensing Configuration.
Resolution
To fix this, set the VIAVI_CF_SERVER_ADDRESS environmental variable
On Windows 10, run This PC, right-click Properties, Advanced system settings, Environmental Variables, System Variables, New Variable Name VIAVI_CF_SERVER_ADDRESS
Variable Value IP address of CyberFlood server>
Make sure you log out or reboot so Avalanche can see this variable. This should remove the error message.
In Avalanche, you will now see:
where 10.20.30.40 is replaced by the Cyberflood license server.
From the command line interface, you can verify this variable is in place
echo %VIAVI_CF_SERVER_ADDRESS%
