New load specifications for Advanced Mixed Traffic
Users can now apply more advanced load control for powerful Advanced Mixed Traffic tests enabling more complex L4-7 traffic conditions and scenarios to model realistic enterprise and telco traffic patterns over a time period. The new traffic patterns include - Stair, Burst, Sinusoid, and Sawtooth. For all new patterns, users can control repetition, ramp time, burst settings, and more for maximum configuration flexibility.
DDoS for Advanced Mixed Traffic (AMT)*
Enhanced DDoS for AMT enables users to parameterize and customize the attack vectors and combine with a legitimate traffic mix within the AMT workflow. Mixing DDoS and legitimate traffic is a critical test to validate resiliency of firewalls and DDoS mitigation solutions. As a phase 1 delivery, users can easily add DDoS to Advanced Mixed Traffic tests including HTTP GET, HTTP POST, and DNS Query Flooding attacks. In addition, existing legitimate HTTP and DNS protocol emulations have been enhanced for improved realism and to respond to DDoS mitigation challenges such as redirect or when DNS UDP response flag is truncated, switching to TCP.
TestCloud Apps Over Native HTTP
A subset of the TestCloud Apps (HTTP-based) now run over native HTTP protocol stack, improving stability of mixed application testing as well as support for more complex Proxy and SSL/IPsec VPN topologies.
Improved Load Constraint Control
Users can now better control the ramp up time phase during a test run so as not to potentially overwhelm the device under test allowing for more accurate and efficient test execution.
CyberFlood Virtual Updates
Numerous updates have been made for CyberFlood Virtual allowing for more configurations and environment options:
Admin support to sync CFv to an external NTP server.CFv for OpenStack, KVM and GCP now supports multi-queue virtio for improved network performance scale over more vCPUs in the environment.CFv support for ESXi 8.0 and removal of support for ESXi 6.5.CyberFlood for Containers now support side-car deployments to validate Service Mesh architecture.
C100-S3 Extreme 2x10G Profile Support
To align with other platforms, the C100-S3 now supports Extreme 2x10G profile which places all available CPU and memory resources behind two active 10G interfaces, for maximum computational-intensive traffic profiles.
