STC v5.55 Released   VIAVI is excited to announce the availability of VIAVI TestCenter (STC) v5.55. STC is an end-to-end test and validation solution delivering high performance, massive scale, and advanced statistics for Cloud to 800Gbps.   This release introduces significant enhancements to AI Datacenter - Collective Communications Library (CCL) traffic emulation & RoCEv2, SRv6 capabilities, Protocols/ Routing updates along with key issue resolutions, and more.     Release VIAVI TestCenter v5.55 Key New Features   AI Datacenter – RoCEv2 & CCL: • RoCEv2: • Scale support on 400G & 200G (IPv4 & IPv6): Achieve high-scale testing with enhanced Queue Pair (QP) support on 400G and 200G speeds for the A1 appliance. Now supporting 1024 QPs at 400G and 256 QPs at 200G, these upgrades are compatible with IPv4, IPv6, and seamlessly integrate with existing RoCEv2 features like DCQCN and PFC, ensuring robust performance for demanding testing scenario • Byte Reset support: The STC UI now allows enabling or disabling byte reset configuration. When enabled, users can set a byte reset value for more realistic traffic behavior. • CCL: • AllReduce Traffic Patterns Support Editable Reduce Times: Easily enhance CCL traffic generation with support for traffic patterns like RingAllReduce, Halving-Doubling, and Dual Tree. By enabling 'Random Reduce Time,' STC automatically generates reduce times within a configured range, providing more dynamic and comprehensive testing. • Test Results Up To 2K Records of Tail Latency: Increasing tail latency records from 100 to 2000 provides increased data on the transmission time of each stream block per step improving test results resolution.   SRv6: • Traffic binding over SRv6-TE Tunnel Improvements: • Easily enable SR-TE seamless traffic binding over EVPN MAC/IP VPLS and IPv4/IPv6 networks. When SRv6_TE is selected, users can quickly choose from preconfigured segment lists in the 'SRv6 Policy Segment List,' simplifying traffic policy setup. The feature supports regular SRv6, G-SID, and uSID, ensuring flexibility for diverse network environments.   Protocols/Routing: • S-BFD Respond the Message With or Without SRH: • Simplify TI-LFA testing with STC's automatic response to S-BFD messages, with or without SRH. If the Destination IPv6 address matches the session's Endpoint and the 'Your Discriminator' falls within the 'My Discriminator' scope, STC responds automatically—no extra configuration required. • Exclude UDP ports in RFC 2544 Wizard: • Easily customize tests in the RFC2544 Wizard by excluding specific source and destination UDP ports when using random UDP ports.
