Vertex: Why is Crest Factor critical for Higher Order Modulation Tests?

Answer:

When a higher order modulation scheme is used for LTE testing such as 64QAM or 256QAM, it is very important to set a higher Crest Factor (CF) on Vertex, which can handle a high PAPR, such as 20/25dB. Set a higher CF under Configure > Advanced Port Settings as shown below:
