VIAVI TestCenter - a couple ports on a PX3-QSFP-DD-8 continue to report that a "fault occurred when communicating" with it
Knowledge Base - FAQ
• 4 appliances form a sync chain
• each port has a device block configured and bound stream blocks between them run traffic from within a custom throughput test
• after several frame length/load iterations, ui.log records that ports 33 and 41, on one of the appliances, the following events are recorded at the same time:
• e1/5 ///1/33: link status changed to Down (remote fault).
• Link flap detected on port ///1/33 when traffic is running
• e1/6 ///1/41: link status changed to Down (remote fault).
• Link flap detected on port ///1/41 when traffic is running
• port ///1/33 event: Either too many receive streams or hashing overflow so some stream results are aggregated in the overflow bucket. The current stream count is 31, max hard stream count is 32768, and max soft stream count is 65535.
• port ///1/41 event: Either too many receive streams or hashing overflow so some stream results are aggregated in the overflow bucket. The current stream count is 31, max hard stream count is 32768, and max soft stream count is 65535.
• Fault occurred when communicating with port ///1/41. Please reboot equipment and/or restart application. Analyzer_2.UpdateStreamsWithRateCalcAndDoSQL returned Internal error: Failed to latch stats while discovering new streams!
• this leads to a GUI crash
