VIAVI TestCenter: How can I do a basic IPv4 configuration?
• Open the VIAVI TestCenter Application, connect to a chassis, and reserve 2 ports.
• Go to All Devices and hit the Add button.
• Select IPv4 in the Select Encapsulation screen.
• After you finished the Add Devices wizard, set the emulated devices' IPv4 configuration to match your testbed. In this case, it should be:
Device 1.
IP address 10.10.10.4
Default Gateway 10.10.10.2
Device 2.
IP address 10.10.10.3
Default Gateway 10.10.10.1
• Go to All Stream Blocks and hit the Add button.
• Select Device 1 under port 10/1 as the source port.
• Select Device 2 under port 10/2 as the destination port.
• If you want traffic to be bidirectional enable it under Orientation.
• Hit the Add button.
