VIAVI TestCenter: How to change different octets in an IPv6 address?
• Create a Raw stream block and add 2 IPv6 modifiers. Use the values below as an example: • In the first modifier configure: Start modifier at offset15TypeIncrementCountThe number of times the last octet will be incremented.MaskFFValueThe value at which the last octet will start • In the second modifier configure: Start modifier at offset14TypeIncrementUse StreamsEnabledCountThe number of times the last octet will be incremented.MaskFFValueThe value at which the last octet will start NOTE: The snapshots above have the values I used for testing in our lab. Offset:Refers to the octet that will be increasing its value.Count:Refers to the number of times the octet will be increased before getting back to the original value.  In this case 0A.Mask:Refers to how numbers in the octet are going to be modified.  If you use F the octet will increase from 0 to 9.Value:Refers to the octet’s staring value. •  If you go to the Preview tab it will display something like this:
