VIAVI TestCenter: How do I configure and utilize -> Port Traffic and Counters > Basic Traffic Results > Triggers on TestCenter?

• Port Traffic and Counters > Basic Traffic Results > Triggers relates to the pattern definition option under capture and there are 8 triggers of 4 bytes each. • I mention you don’t have to start capture for these counters to increment but you do need to have one of the qualify/start/stop checkbox checked. • Attached document with screen shot and back to back port configuration. • Be aware of the the filter and mask used since due to each trigger counter is 4 bytes, the filter may span multiple triggers. Also if there are similar byte patterns in those 4 bytes you may see the count increment on one of the trigger counters.
