VIAVI TestCenter: If I create a GPRS Tunneling Protocol v1 header on STC, why can't I see the GTP header on the DUT?
• When you create a GTPv1 header, STC by default sets the message type value to 0; GTP describes that messages with type = 0 shall be treated as unknown messages and will not be forwarded.
• The message type = 0 could be used for negative testing; this will allow you to know how the DUT handles these messages.
• It's possible to modify the message type value at the frame tab when you create the GTP header to make it fit your test requirements.
