VIAVI TestCenter: Why a chassis is showing a version ending in .0013?
Knowledge Base - FAQ
N/A
Whether its an active version or a standby version ending in .0013 most likely indicates the chassis was reimaged through the re-image process, giving you a version ending in .0013 which is a base version and not the full version.
In either case, the chassis needs to be installed with the proper full version following the normal upgrade process.
So basically:
• When reimaging the chassis the Active Version = 5.26.0013,
• then, when upgrading the chassis, Standby Version = 5.26.0013, and Active Version = 5.26.1006
At this point there is no additional action needed on your side, unless this is giving you an issue, however you can just upgrade the chassis either to 5.26.1006 or any other version and that way you can have both Active and Standby versions loaded with the full version.

• Note - Always check the version numbers if experiencing any issues.
• Its been seen where a chassis reboot/power cycle may cause the standby version to become the active version.
• If the active is using the base version .0013 then the user may not notice the change and only experience other issues.
• A user can do a switch_version command to get back to the full version.
• If there is no standby version to switch to, then need to do a normal firmware install with the proper version.
