VIAVI TestCenter: Why is there a warning indicating "The intended stream block rates cannot be offered as configured and were adjusted"?
This is a message from the firmware indicating that the rates cannot be scheduled precisely as configured because of rounding of IFG byte values since we cannot have fractional IFG values or FPS rates. Often the difference between configured value and achieved value is very negligible.
For DX/PX modules, the difference between configured and obtained rates can be very different if you have multiple streams with different rates. The faster stream cannot be more than 511 times faster than the slower stream due to internal limitations of these modules. If the rate difference is more that this ratio, the rates will be adjusted.
The actual load value can be seen in the "Preview" view.
