Why isn't my USB drive working with the unit (option install, software upgrade, copying files)?
Answer: 
Some steps to troubleshoot USB issues: 1. Is the USB drive setup with the correct directories? X:\Aeroflex\etc or X:\Instrument\etc per unit’s install procedure. 2. Does the unit see the USB drive? Check to see if contents of USB drive can be viewed via file manager on the unit. 3. Try a FAT32 quick format with default settings in Windows 7 or higher. The HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool works even better: https://download.cnet.com/HP-USB-Disk-Storage-Format-Tool/3000-2094_4-10...4. Some promotional/freebie drives can have issues. If formatting these with the above HP USB tool does not fix the problem, then another drive should be tried. Something from a known flash memory vendor such as Sandisk, Kingston, Adata, etc would be best.
