Problem:
When performing a fiber inspection do I need to select something from the Tip or Profile selection boxes in my Viavi Fiberchek Pro?
Solution:
The correct Tip selection should always be made. The Tip selection equates to the optical setting that will be used for viewing the fiber image. The Profile selection pertains specifically to to end face analysis, so if you are not analyzing the image for defects, the Profile selection is not important.
