Installed module fails to appear on the HST Home screen.
The module may fail to appear on the Home screen for two reasons: either the software is too old for the module to be recognized or the HST cannot determine which module is attached. First check the software revision at the SYSTEM>TOOLS>OPTIONS/REVS screen. Contact TAC to determine if your revision is suitable for running that specific module. If the mainframe’s software is current, but the module does not appear when attached to the HST: power-down the unit, inspect the connectors, and reseat the module. If the software/firmware revision is suitable, but reseating does not correct the problem, the unit must be returned to Viavi for repair.
