Problem:
Does it matter where the Viavi ONX580, with the Master SMARTID or SMARTID+, is connected when running the Whole Home Check?
Solution:
In order to map the network correctly, the Master SMARTID/SMARTID+ should be connected on the main side of the residental gateway or splitter and not on a branch leg.
