Problem:
How do I tell if I have a version 1 or version 2 TB/MTS 8000 mainframe?
Solution:
A version 1 8000 will display as an 8000 and a version 2 will display as an 8000E. There are also physical differences. The 8000 has a SYSTEM button and the 8000E has a HOME button. The 8000 AC power plugs in on the right side of the front UIM (display) section and the 8000E AC power plugs in on the right side of the battery pack in the rear. To display the mainframe information via software, press HOME (V2) and then SETTINGS and then ABOUT. For the V1 press SYSTEM and the
