What is the Link Validation limit under the fiber limits on the Viavi 40G Certifier?
Solution:
Link Validation is an alternative limit selection to TIA or ISO. Link Validation allows the user enter a simple dB value, per wavelength, for the pass/fail analysis. It is also possible to enter a length setting for pass/fail on fiber length. NOTE: Most users do not require a pass/fail on length. The value entered for length is applied to ALL limits including TIA & ISO which is why the default setting is high.
