Where can I find the serial number on my Viavi 40G Certifier?
Solution:
The serial number for the 40G Certifier is physically displayed on a sticker on the rear of the unit. Earlier versions of software displayed the information about the unit under the i softkey on the instrument. Later versions of software (7 and above) now display the instrument info by selecting SYSTEM SETTINGS and then selecting the Settings 2 at the bottom of the screen. There is a Device Info on that page that can be selected to display the information about the instrument, including the serial number.
